How to prepare a Project Report for Vedapraveen Diploma

Dear Students, the following are the steps and format of the Project.
        Prepare three copies of the Report. Keep one copy with you and the other two duly signed and sealed by the Headmaster and Vicar. One should be kept in the Sunday School Office and the second should be submitted to the Diocesan Director through the District Inspector.
Format of the Project Report
The Report should contain: 
Facing Sheet - The first sheet should contain - Title, OSSAE, Devalokam, Kottayam, Vedapraveen Diploma Project Report, Submitted by (Your name and Address), Submitted to (Name of Class Teacher or Head Master), Name of Sunday School, Place, Date of Submission
Next Page - Title at the top. Here you write the topic of study at the top of the second page. Then:
Introduction - Here you write some general matter about the topic. About one or maximum two pages only needed. You start with a general matter and proceed to the particular topic. For example, if you take a topic as "A Study of the Social Commitment of Geevarghese Mar Osthathios Thirumeni" for your Project, then, you start with Church fathers, their contributions to church and society, features of their life etc. then specifically to Osthathios Thirumeni.
Need and Significance of the Study - Here you write how relevant is your study to the church or society. What are its significance. Why you selected this topic for the project. What is its originality? For example, in our topic, you need to mention how relevant is thirumeni's contributions to church and more significantly to the society. You should also mention here that a study of the present type is the need of the hour to diseminate the greatness to the public people.
Objectives of the Study - Here you write two or three major objectives for which the study is conducted. For example, To study the contributions of Geevarghese Mar Osthathios Thirumeni to the development of the Society. To accept and respect Thrumeni as our spiritual Mediator.
Methodology of the Study - Here you write how you conducted the study, what method you used,
what is the tool you used to collect data, what are the sources through which you collected information for the study such as books, internet, interview, field visit etc. One paragraph to one page you can write based on the matter you have. For exmple, you can write four techniques through which you collected data for the study. 1. Book review - available books showing the life history of Thirumani are reviewed 2. Interview - some experts in the field are interviewed for the purpose of getting some authentic primary data pertaining to thirumeni's contributions. 3. Field Trip - a study tour can be conducted to Mavelikara St Pauls MTC, where thirumeni's tomb is situated. Also observe the museum there and collect first hand information. 4. Internet Source - available information in the internet is also reviewed for the establishment of the data obtained from other sources.
The data obtained from all these sources are edited and systematically arranged for analysis and interpretation, which is presented in the next section.
Data Analysis and Interpretation - Here you write all the matter you collected, which are edited
and arranged in a systematic manner. Prepare tables, if needed, and write interpretations. Mention sources whenever needed. Write five to eight pages or even some more pages if you have more matter collected. For example, Section I - A background information about Thirumeni is presented here. Section II - Thirumeni's birth and childhood, Education, Priesthood. Section III - Thirumeni's contributions to social development. Section IV - Thirumeni's charity works and institutions. Section V - Thirumeni's literary works, books and other scholarly works Section VI - Concluding remarks.
Major Findings of the Study - Here you write the major points once again which are presented
in the Data Analysis part. This is not a repetition, you are highlighting the major points once again
so that a reader can have the major findings without going through the Analysis part. Write only one paragraph as three to five points.
Conclusion and Suggestions - Here you write your own experiences and benefits of the study.
What all benefits you got from the study and how the society will get benefited, what are the limitations of the study, Further, how can one modify the study and conduct a better one, write your suggestions, What the church authorities can do in this regard etc. Write one paragraph to maximum one page.
References - Here you write the references of some books, journals or web pages. Write minimum four or five books. Name of the author and name of the book alone is needed.
